Corporate Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Associate to provide comprehensive legal advice and support to businesses operating across various industries. The role focuses on corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, governance, compliance, and contract work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver timely, strategic legal advice on corporate structuring, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support M&A, joint ventures and other transactions through due diligence, drafting and reviewing agreements, and advising on legal implications.
• Guide clients on best practices for corporate governance, board meetings, shareholder relations and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including partnership, distribution, licensing and employment agreements.
• Monitor relevant laws and industry developments to ensure client compliance.
• Represent clients in corporate disputes, negotiations, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal research to support client matters and provide accurate advice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, aligning legal solutions with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s or specialization in corporate law is preferred.
• 3‑5 years of UAE corporate law experience, preferably in a reputable law firm or corporate legal department.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate legislation, regulations and business practices.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
