Corporate Counsellor – Employee Mental Health Specialist

About the role

Union Properties PJSC is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsellor to support employee mental health across its Dubai operations. The role focuses on confidential counselling, psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and advisory support to HR and leadership, aiming to boost productivity, resilience, and overall well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one confidential counselling for stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship issues, grief, and work‑related concerns.
• Conduct psychological assessments and mental health evaluations as required.
• Deliver short‑term therapy, guidance, and referrals for long‑term treatment.
• Manage crisis interventions for emotional distress, trauma, or critical workplace incidents.
• Design and deliver mental‑health awareness programs, workshops, and training sessions.
• Develop initiatives on stress management, resilience, emotional intelligence, and work‑life balance.
• Support Employee Assistance Programs and broader wellness frameworks.
• Advise HR and leadership on mental‑health policies, workplace stressors, and psychosocial risks.
• Assist in creating mental‑health policies, protocols, and return‑to‑work plans.
• Maintain confidential records in compliance with ethical, legal, and data‑privacy standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology, or MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry.
• Valid professional licence or registration with relevant medical/psychology council.
• 10+ years of clinical or counselling experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Demonstrated experience with employee mental‑health programs, EAPs, or organizational psychology.
