Corporate Setup & Compliance Specialist

About the role

Flatgigs is looking for an execution-driven Corporate Setup & Compliance Specialist with deep expertise in UAE and multi-jurisdictional GCC corporate structuring. You will own the end-to-end client lifecycle: entity formation, AML/KYC frameworks, corporate bank account openings and multi-jurisdictional compliance calendars. The role sits at the intersection of government liaison, corporate law and banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Entity formation: handle incorporation of Free Zone, Mainland and Offshore structures (FZE, FZC, LLC); prepare MOAs, articles of incorporation, resolutions and trade license applications; support renewals, share transfers, director appointments and liquidations
• Banking advisory: assess client profiles against suitable banks, vet corporate bank applications and ensure UBO documentation meets compliance rules, coordinating with relationship managers and compliance officers
• Risk screening: screen UBOs, PEPs and institutional clients; align procedures with free zone frameworks such as ADGM and DIFC CSP and federal laws
• Compliance calendar: track trade license renewals, commercial registration updates, corporate tax, VAT and audited accounts, and manage GCC filings such as ESR declarations and AML reporting
• Client alerts: issue timely compliance alerts to avoid fines, suspensions or penalties
• Liaison: coordinate with commercial registries (DET, DMCC, ADGM RA, RAKEZ) and labor/immigration departments, and guide clients through banking introductions and visa/PRO allocations

Required profile

• Minimum 4-6 years of direct corporate service provider or business setup experience in the UAE
• Strong technical knowledge of UAE processes and portals (UAE Pass, smart apps, DET, DED) and Free Zone registries
• Familiarity with GCC structures: UAE (Mainland and Free Zones), Saudi Arabia (MISA/SAGIA), Qatar (QFC/LLCs) and Bahrain
• Practical understanding of UAE AML/KYC frameworks and corporate law
• Proven track record in name reservations, initial approvals, commercial registrations, lease coordination and localised document drafting
