Cost Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join Napco National in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on analysing production costs, preparing cost reports and supporting cost‑control initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will understand the NFP business environment and apply internal policies effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse cost data from multiple sources to produce accurate reports for decision‑making.
• Compare actual production costs with standard costs and highlight variances.
• Record and maintain cost information to control expenditures.
• Prepare cost estimates for new products or services and recommend cost‑efficiency improvements.
• Apportion costs between production units and management reporting.
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, or manufacturing methods to determine their impact on costs.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to organise work efficiently and meet short‑ and long‑term objectives.
• Proficiency in monitoring, collecting and analysing data from various sources.
• Capability to use standard office equipment and automation tools.
• Proficiency in both national and foreign languages, spoken and written.
