About the role
Bright Fortune HR is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage cost management operations for a manufacturing and construction enterprise in Dubai. The role focuses on tracking production and project expenditure, evaluating raw material and overhead budgets, and delivering cost variance reports.
Key responsibilities
- Formulate product cost sheets and analyze project‑level expenditure metrics.
- Audit manufacturing costs, direct labor rates, overhead allocations, and material usage.
- Perform variance analysis against operating budgets and cost baselines.
- Support periodic inventory valuations, physical stock counts, and ledger reconciliations.
- Generate financial cost control reports to assist executive decision‑making.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling capabilities.
- Hands‑on experience with financial ERP or costing software.
