Cost Accountant – Manufacturing & Industrial Sectors

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage product costing, monitor production expenses, and support profitability improvement across our manufacturing and industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate product costing models, including raw material, labor, overhead and routing data.
• Conduct BOM and routing validations, monitor cost trends and identify reduction opportunities.
• Perform profitability analysis by product, customer, project and business unit, and recommend margin‑enhancing actions.
• Support inventory valuation, WIP and finished‑goods costing, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, margin analysis, MIS dashboards, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain costing data in ERP systems, improve reporting automation, and ensure data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CMA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CA preferred.
• 4–8 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Experience in budgeting, cost optimization and financial reporting automation.
