Cost Control Manager

About the role

A leading organization in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Cost Control Manager to oversee project budgeting, cost management and financial performance monitoring. The role ensures effective cost control across projects, prepares financial forecasts, analyzes expenditure and recommends corrective measures to keep projects on budget. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts and financial reporting
• Analyze budget versus actual costs and prepare variance reports
• Monitor procurement commitments, subcontractor costs and overall project expenditure
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete analyses
• Evaluate project financial performance and recommend corrective actions
• Oversee cost control across multiple projects at once using ERP systems and project cost management tools
• Prepare cost trend analyses, management reports and financial presentations
• Work with project teams and stakeholders to maintain effective cost management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Extensive experience in cost control and management on EPC, Oil & Gas, civil construction or infrastructure projects
• PMP, ACCA, CMA or other cost management certifications are an advantage

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• ERP systems and project cost management tools
• Project budgeting, cost estimation, forecasting, cash flow analysis and variance reporting
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, reporting and stakeholder management
