Cost Controller – Hotel Finance

About the role
As a Cost Controller you will manage and optimise the hotel’s expenses, ensuring robust cost‑control practices across all departments. You will represent the Finance function, monitoring costs, analysing consumption patterns and upholding Hyatt’s financial policies.
Key responsibilities
- Control food and beverage costs and monitor related inventory levels.
- Validate purchasing processes and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
- Analyse cost reports, variances and identify opportunities for efficiency without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate cost records and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement cost‑saving initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in cost control, finance or accounting, preferably within hospitality.
- Strong understanding of cost‑control procedures, inventory management and financial analysis.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting or inventory systems such as Opera.
