Cost Controller – Rail Infrastructure (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking an experienced Cost Controller to support a major rail infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on monitoring, controlling and reporting project costs to keep expenditure within the approved budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project cost‑control system and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
• Track actual costs, commitments, accruals and forecast expenditure against approved budgets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, variance analyses and early warnings of potential overruns.
• Coordinate with Finance, Planning, Procurement and Contracts to reconcile cost records and support cash‑flow forecasts.
• Analyse the financial impact of variations, change orders and claims, and identify cost‑optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in cost control, project controls or project finance, preferably in construction, EPC, infrastructure or railway projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
