Country Manager – UAE

About the role

The Company, a Spanish multinational engineering and infrastructure consulting firm, is seeking a Country Manager to lead its market entry and growth in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the International Business Development Department, you will act as the primary technical and commercial representative, building high‑level institutional and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market entry and consolidation strategy for the UAE across engineering, infrastructure, energy, water, transport, industrial and building sectors.
• Identify business opportunities, build a sustainable pipeline of contracts and oversee the preparation of proposals, tenders and negotiations.
• Coordinate with Business Units to align technical expertise with client needs and ensure timely involvement of specialists.
• Establish and nurture institutional and commercial relationships with government bodies, private developers and key stakeholders.
• Define and manage the local organisational structure, coordinating resources required for project execution and ensuring profitability targets are met.
• When required, support operational and project‑delivery activities for specific sectors or services.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in business development or country management within engineering, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, ability to negotiate complex contracts and drive growth.
• International mindset with experience working in multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the Company at high‑level institutional forums.
