Credit Analyst

About the role

ADIB Group is seeking a Credit Analyst to provide full support to branches and the DSU by reviewing and processing finance applications in a timely manner, adhering to approved policies. The role is based in Al Ain and is open to UAE nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Examine credit applications for completeness, timeliness, and accuracy, noting any exceptions for correction.
• Prepare error‑free credit documentation and ensure vigilance in applying de‑dupes.
• Analyze bank statements to assess genuineness, continuity, business turnover, cheque returns, average balances, and detect possible fabrications.
• Review applicant financial statements and provide commentary where required.
• Check customer status through de‑dupes/CBRB and meet daily targets while maintaining low error rates.
• Escalate complex cases with full analysis and recommendations for senior decision‑making.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of ADIB products, policies, and procedures, and recommend system enhancements.
• Support business in achieving monthly budgets and targets while ensuring compliance with CB regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of practical banking experience, preferably in finance and credit.
• UAE national.
• Strong credit and analytical abilities.
• Detailed knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking credit products and services.
• Broad understanding of ADIB’s retail credit and operational policies and procedures.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
