Credit Controller – Finance Team (Dubai)

About the role

The leading international law firm is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join its Finance team in Dubai’s DIFC. The role will focus on driving cash collections, reducing aged debt and supporting the firm’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding fees against targets.
• Monitor aged debt and proactively chase outstanding invoices via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Build strong relationships with Partners and Practice Group Heads to review debt positions and reduce debtor days.
• Resolve billing queries and disputes by working closely with fee earners and billing teams.
• Set up and manage payment plans, maintaining accurate records within the practice management system.
• Support cash forecasting, month‑end processes and annual audits.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience in credit control or credit management, preferably within legal or professional services.
• Strong understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes and credit control best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at all levels.
• Proactive, resilient, commercially aware and highly organised.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
