Critical Environment Program Manager

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is looking for a Critical Environment Program Manager to oversee the reliability and efficiency of our leased datacenters in Ajman. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and landlord partners to ensure that critical mechanical and electrical systems operate safely and meet service‑level commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with datacenter policies, safety and security procedures.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, including review of MOP/SOP/EOP documentation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for high‑impact incidents.
• Drive cost‑ and energy‑efficiency initiatives while adhering to budget constraints.
• Coordinate change governance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in datacenter or critical‑environment operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on safety, security, and cost control.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
