Customer Project Manager – Aviation MRO

About the role

Bombardier is launching a state‑of‑the‑art Service Center at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi. The Customer Project Manager will act as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring smooth delivery of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the daily point‑of‑contact for customers, handling quotes, invoices, progress updates, approvals, warranty issues and upselling additional work.
• Manage multiple aircraft projects, identifying risks, controlling constraints, and maintaining schedules from delivery through follow‑up.
• Oversee work flow to keep packages on schedule and within budget, coordinating with shops and departments.
• Facilitate status meetings, produce daily reports, and coordinate special programs such as Smart Parts, ESP, MSP, Honeywell and warranty initiatives.
• Review, approve and sign final customer invoices, including margin analysis and warranty negotiations.
• Conduct post‑completion activities, including customer follow‑up calls and issue resolution.
• Meet or exceed facility financial objectives and manage payment terms with customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance environment or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of customer project management, supervisory or lead experience.
• Working knowledge of GCAA, EASA and FAA regulatory requirements (Part 145).
• Familiarity with aircraft maintenance inspection programs and EH&S regulations.
