Customer Service Assistant

About the role

Join a leading beverage distribution and retail group to deliver exceptional service to shoppers in a dynamic store environment. You will assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized space that drives sales and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere, answer product queries and give recommendations.
• Promote and upsell products to meet store sales targets.
• Replenish shelves, organise displays and ensure accurate pricing and labelling.
• Maintain a tidy, safe store by regular cleaning and organising.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory, receiving and unpacking new merchandise.
• Attend training sessions to expand product knowledge.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth store operations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of retail or customer‑service experience.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Ability to manage customer complaints and work under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and team‑oriented.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
