Customer Service Officer – On‑Ground Cinema Guest Services

About the role

Join the VOX Cinemas team as a Customer Service Officer and be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a memorable cinema experience. You will work on‑ground, handling ticket sales, promotions, and guest inquiries while upholding the brand’s high hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with ticket purchases, seat selections, and promotional offers.
• Process cash, card, and digital transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Provide information on movie schedules, loyalty programmes, and ongoing promotions.
• Upsell tickets, combo deals, and retail items to maximise revenue.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable box office, lobby, and service counters.
• Monitor customer flow, manage queues, and coordinate with F&B and cinema operations teams.
• Record transactions, refunds, and generate required reports.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in food & beverage or hospitality; cinema or restaurant background preferred.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Adherence to hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards.

Required skills
