Customer User Researcher – Part‑Time Remote (70 USD/hr)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to train its newest language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This part‑time, fully remote position offers a flexible commitment of 5‑20 hours per week at $70 per hour, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Develop moderated usability test findings decks and synthesize customer interview data using thematic coding.
• Design survey instruments, conduct statistical analysis, and produce write‑ups.
• Write discussion guides, screener criteria, and tag research repositories.
• Produce insight briefs and journey‑map documents that translate findings into product recommendations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Fluency in thematic coding methods, survey design, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to turn raw research data into findings decks and journey‑map documents.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong written communication.
