Customs Data Entry Agent

About the role

The Customs Data Entry Agent ensures full compliance with all regulatory requirements for customs clearance. You will work in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy and speed are essential to meet DHL customers' express delivery expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Declare all customs pre‑alerts on time.
• Verify HS code, country of origin, piece count, weight, value and currency for each entry.
• Submit clearance entries through Mirsal 2 / B2G with correct line‑item details.
• Update shipments requiring special handling with appropriate ACA statuses or bond reasons.
• Hand over shipments needing regulatory approvals to supervisors for inspection endorsement.
• Follow Gateway clearance procedures as defined in the GSOP manual.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on changes to UAE customs rules and logistics industry trends.

Required profile

• Sound knowledge of the UAE Customs code and practices.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑learner and strong team player.
• Willingness to work day/night shifts and public holidays on a 24 × 7 schedule.
• Ability to travel to various free‑zone locations (JAFZ, DAFZ, SFZ, HFZ) using personal transport.
