Cyber Investigation Specialist

About the role

As a Cyber Investigation Specialist you will analyze attackers behind cybercrimes, applying creative and precise technical expertise. You will work on high‑impact investigations that protect clients from evolving threats across the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation to clients on cyber investigations and digital threat analysis.
• Perform preliminary incident assessments, analyzing initial access vectors and scoping investigations.
• Analyze network infrastructures, digital assets and threat indicators linked to malicious actors.
• Identify and track threat actors on the Clear, Deep and Dark Web using passive and active intelligence‑gathering techniques.
• Produce clear, comprehensive investigation reports in English and Arabic.
• Monitor active threat actors in the region, proactively hunting emerging threats.
• Contribute to the development of intelligence collection and analysis methodologies.
• Participate in creating articles, blogs and research publications.
• Collaborate with law‑enforcement agencies to support cybercrime investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital investigations, threat intelligence or penetration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with web technologies, hosting environments, servers, databases and CMS.

Required skills

• Strong Linux and Windows administration.
• Bash scripting and regular expressions.
• Solid understanding of DNS, SMTP and HTTP protocols.
• Experience managing web hosting and email server environments.
• Practical knowledge of OSINT methodologies, including social media investigations and Google dorking.
