Cyber Security Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Cyber Security Assurance Specialist will lead the implementation and daily operation of ENEC's Cyber Security Program. The role focuses on protecting critical digital systems and assets within the nuclear energy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain cyber security policies, procedures, and education programs.
• Configure, operate, and maintain cyber security equipment, coordinating with physical and personnel security teams.
• Perform security audits, vulnerability assessments, network scans, and penetration tests on critical systems and CDAs.
• Conduct periodic cyber risk assessments and security evaluations of digital systems.
• Coordinate incident response, communication, and forensic evidence preservation during and after security events.
• Participate in the design of security architecture and equipment configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., diploma with 9 years, high school with 11 years).
• Professional certifications in cyber security are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with ENEC and regulatory cyber security requirements.
