Cybersecurity IT GRC Specialist (Remote, Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity IT GRC Specialist to support a leading AI lab in training its language model on professional documentation tasks. This is a fully remote, flexible engagement of 5‑20 hours per week, paid at $90 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review SOC 2, ISO 27001 and NIST audit readiness documentation.
• Create risk assessments, control matrices, and vendor security questionnaires.
• Produce incident response reports, breach notifications, and board‑level security posture dashboards.
• Evaluate and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for compliance accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance.
• Direct ownership of SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST certification projects.
• Proven ability to write and review detailed risk assessments and control documentation.
• Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
