Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

The Manager of Cybersecurity leads the enterprise security strategy, operations and governance across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will head a dedicated team protecting servers, networks, cloud platforms and databases while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cybersecurity roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements, establishing policies, standards and procedures.
• Oversee SOC activities, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation.
• Manage security budgets, vendor relationships and third‑party risk assessments, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA and local regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, engineers and responders, defining KPIs and driving continuous skill development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT or related field (Master’s preferred); relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CCSP.
• 8+ years of IT security experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes security, container hardening and cloud‑native security tools.

Required skills

• Security of Windows/Linux servers, AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud.
• Kubernetes, container security, CKS (preferred).
• Enterprise networking, IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOC operations.
• Database security for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, CouchDB.
• Identity and Access Management, zero‑trust architecture, incident response and forensics.
