Data Analyst – ICQA LND Analytics (UAE National)

About the role

Amazon is a highly data‑driven company that relies on metrics to improve its operations. The Data Analyst will create unique reports from multiple data sources, uncover root causes of quality defects and inventory adjustments, and support the ICQA, Learning and Finance teams with analytical insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data collection processes, manage data systems and design SQL queries to compile and report data.
• Create visualisations and dashboards using Amazon QuickSight to support business decision‑making.
• Automate analyses with Python and prepare regular reports for weekly and quarterly business reviews.
• Research defect trends, enter data as needed and present findings in clear, standard reports.
• Assist leadership in interpreting data trends and support ICQA & Learning team projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
• Proven experience communicating clearly with leadership, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing end‑to‑end projects, including data gathering, modelling, problem solving and recommendation delivery.
• Understanding of business and customer needs and translating them into appropriate solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda and IAM.
