Data Analyst – Power BI & Cloud Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and cloud‑based analytics to support Corporate & Investment Banking functions. The role will turn complex data sets into actionable insights and executive‑level dashboards, working closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Translate business requirements into visualisations and KPI reporting frameworks.
• Analyse large data sets to uncover trends, opportunities and performance insights.
• Build and optimise data models for enterprise‑scale reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and gather requirements.
• Support data‑governance, reporting standards and data‑quality initiatives.
• Work with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering teams to ensure accurate data availability.
• Provide actionable insights to aid strategic and operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Strong background in financial services, preferably corporate or investment banking.
• Proven ability to deliver executive dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or a related field.

Required skills

• Power BI (development and performance optimisation).
• SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with AWS analytics services such as Redshift, Athena or QuickSight.
• Data modelling and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data‑governance and reporting best practices.
