Data Analyst Trainee

About the role

MedTourEasy is a healthcare care-coordination and intelligence platform that connects patients, providers and care teams through its CareMatrix platform. Its remote Data Analyst Traineeship supports data-driven decision-making in healthcare, working on care coordination and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean and organize healthcare data from various sources
• Assist in basic data analysis and reporting
• Help build and maintain simple dashboards and prepare visualizations
• Contribute to interpreting trends and patterns related to care coordination and patient outcomes
• Document analytical processes and communicate findings in clear, structured formats under the guidance of senior analysts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Analytics or a related discipline
• Interest in healthcare data, care coordination or health informatics; prior academic or project experience in related fields is beneficial
• Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively and learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support evidence-based recommendations
• Foundational knowledge of data analytics and data modeling
• Basic understanding of statistics for descriptive analysis
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL, Python or R is an advantage
