Data Center Logistics Technician

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation team is looking for a Data Center Logistics Technician to support inventory and asset processes across its Ajman data centre. You will perform cycle audits, manage inbound and outbound deliveries, and ensure secure handling of third‑party vendor activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, documenting all movements.
• Perform regular cycle audits of inventory and assets.
• Coordinate security escorts for third‑party vendors entering the data centre.
• Initiate and process warranty claims, handling packaging, shipment, and receipt of returned hardware.
• Manage data‑bearing device destruction in accordance with security policies.
• Escalate issues during high‑volume periods or when exceptions arise.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in logistics, inventory, or data‑center operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
