Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines that support both real‑time and batch processing needs. You will work closely with the Senior Data Architect and the Corporate IT team to ensure seamless data integration across the business unit.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines from multiple sources, supporting real‑time and batch requirements.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage in line with business and Corporate IT standards.
• Integrate data from third‑party systems and ERP platforms, ensuring smooth data flow.
• Develop and maintain data validation and monitoring tools to guarantee data accuracy and reliability.
• Assist the Senior Data Architect in building scalable data models and optimizing pipeline performance.
• Create and update documentation for data flows, transformations, and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve pipeline efficiency and reduce latency for real‑time applications.
• Perform data analysis and reporting to support operational decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and corporate standards.
• Mentor and support Junior Data Engineers.

Required profile

• Experience designing and operating data pipelines for real‑time and batch processing.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration techniques.
• Ability to work with ERP and third‑party data sources.
• Familiarity with data validation, monitoring, and documentation practices.
• Collaborative mindset to support senior architects and junior team members.
