About the role
We are looking for a highly organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our remote operations team. The role supports business operations by keeping internal data accurate, structured, and readily available. This is an entry‑level position with full training and guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain data in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistent formatting.
- Standardize entries such as names, contact details, and internal notes.
- Identify and flag duplicates, errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Maintain organized digital files and follow naming conventions.
- Support reporting by ensuring datasets are clean and reliable.
- Log updates, corrections, and changes made to datasets.
- Review incoming data‑related requests, prioritize, and track tasks to completion.
- Maintain clear documentation of task progress and communicate when clarification is needed.
- Update trackers for completed, pending, and in‑progress work and prepare simple progress summaries.
- Monitor recurring data issues, escalate patterns indicating process gaps, and assist internal reporting.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- High level of accountability and ability to follow defined processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage structured workflows.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Clear communication when additional information or clarification is required.
