Data SME – Market Intelligence Modeler

About the role

The Data SME will serve as the business and analytical subject‑matter expert for TCS’s Market Mapping Program. You will translate macro‑economic and industry data into actionable commercial insights that drive new‑to‑business opportunities across 21 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, define and validate macro‑economic, industry, trade and company‑level datasets from sources such as GDP, FDI, IMF, Bloomberg, Moody’s, LSEG and Orbis.
• Design, oversee and refine econometric, statistical and predictive models to pinpoint high‑growth countries, sectors and corporate prospects.
• Develop weighting, correlation, ranking and scoring methodologies for opportunity identification.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to set data acquisition, refresh frequency and quality standards.
• Work with AI Hub and RM Advisory teams to convert model outputs into business recommendations and support business case preparation.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and monitor ongoing model performance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in economic or market data modeling.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic indicators and market intelligence sources.
• Ability to work across business, data, AI and technology teams.
