Data Solutions Architect - AI & Data Center of Excellence

About the role

Accelone is hiring a Data Solutions Architect for its AI & Data Center of Excellence in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time, senior leadership role defining, designing and governing enterprise-wide data architecture so that it aligns with business strategy, regulatory requirements and long-term scalability. It calls for deep expertise in financial data ecosystems and enterprise transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture frameworks such as data lake, data warehouse and data mesh
• Define and enforce data governance, security and compliance standards across the organization
• Lead the architecture of AI and machine learning platforms and enterprise data products
• Collaborate with business, technology and risk teams to align data capabilities with strategic priorities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and local financial regulations
• Promote modern data paradigms like Data Mesh and data product-based architectures
• Establish best practices for data integration, scalability, performance and reliability
• Guide enterprise data transformation and modernization programs

Required profile

• Senior level only: 8-10+ years of experience in data architecture, data platforms or enterprise data transformation
• Mandatory hands-on experience in financial data environments, including regulatory reporting, risk and finance data platforms, customer and transaction data models, and regulatory-aligned data governance
• Proven track record of enterprise-scale data architecture solutions and large-scale data transformation programs
• Leadership capabilities and stakeholder influence across technical and business teams
• Preferred: experience leading data transformation in banks, financial institutions or NBFCs, and in complex, regulated or multi-country environments

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Data architecture and modelling: Kimball, Data Vault, data warehouse and data lake architectures, data integration and distributed data systems
• Databases: relational, NoSQL, graph and vector databases
• Data and AI platforms: API-driven data ecosystems, MLOps and AI platform architecture
