About the role
The Delivery Officer is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders while maintaining strong communication with internal teams. This field‑based position requires frequent travel, interaction with customers, and careful handling of company assets.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders according to assigned schedules and delivery routes.
- Obtain customer signatures on invoices as proof of delivery.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to collect outstanding payments.
- Maintain regular communication with the Customer Service Manager regarding delivery status and location.
- Submit collected payments to Accounts Receivable daily.
- Ensure the company vehicle is properly maintained and kept in good working condition.
- Assist with delivering and collecting documents from government agencies, offices, and other organisations when required.
Required profile
- High school education (certificate not mandatory).
- Valid driving licence.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and geographical areas.
- Strong sense of direction and time‑management skills.
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and capable of driving for extended periods.
- Able to load, unload, and carry boxes weighing up to 20 kg.
