Demi Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join its award‑winning culinary team. Working in a five‑star beachfront property, you will support the Chef de Partie in delivering high‑quality dishes that meet the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook and present menu items according to Fairmont recipes and quality specifications.
• Ensure proper mise en place and maintain consistency in taste, texture, portioning and presentation.
• Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and junior staff when required.
• Maintain hygiene and food‑safety standards (HACCP) in all preparation areas.
• Handle receiving, checking and storage of kitchen supplies, following proper labeling and rotation procedures.
• Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support menu development, special events and promotional projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a comparable role within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations and kitchen organization.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding brand standards.
