Demi Chef de Partie – Terrace Kitchen

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the Terrace Kitchen team at St. Regis Abu Dhabi, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation and service. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to deliver consistent, high‑quality dishes in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items according to recipes, standards and plating guidelines, maintaining the expected level of quality.
• Maintain close liaison with all kitchen sections to ensure smooth and efficient service flow throughout the day.
• Assume Chef de Partie duties in their absence, leading junior team members and overseeing station operations.
• Monitor station cleanliness, organization and adherence to opening/closing procedures, keeping work areas tidy and safe.
• Control food waste, rotate stock, label and store products correctly while following food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collect daily production data, report any issues promptly and review production sheets with senior chefs when required.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or all‑day dining restaurant, preferably in a similar kitchen environment.
• Strong initiative, a desire to improve skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Positive professional attitude with the capability to solve minor obstacles without supervision.
• Willingness to train, support and mentor junior talent and apprentices.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of food preparation, labeling and storage to ensure cost control.
