Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our professional dental team in Jumeirah, Dubai. The successful candidate will support dentists in delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including dental X‑rays where permitted.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials and equipment before each case.
• Maintain strict sterilization and infection‑control protocols.
• Update patient records and clinical information accurately.
• Prepare and support patients before, during and after treatment.
• Organise and manage dental instruments and supplies.
• Coordinate with dentists, reception and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Keep the clinical environment clean, safe and organized, adhering to DHA and clinic policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic or healthcare facility.
• Good command of English and professional appearance.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and interpersonal abilities.
• Eligibility for a DHA license as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience in Dubai or the UAE healthcare sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with dental instruments and equipment.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection‑control standards.
• Ability to perform dental X‑rays where permitted.
