About the role

The Deputy Nursing Director will provide strong leadership for nursing and allied health services at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the role ensures the delivery of high‑quality clinical care while driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead nursing and allied health teams to deliver high‑quality clinical services.
• Drive clinical operational efficiency and effectiveness as a strategic imperative.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and foster a culture of safe, patient‑centred care.
• Support the development, implementation and monitoring of the nursing strategic plan.
• Manage patient safety and risk processes, promoting continuous improvement.
• Assist with workforce planning and resource management to balance clinical quality and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain sustainable relationships to enhance patient experience and integrated care.

Required profile

• Licensed or eligible for licensing as a registered nurse with the UAE Healthcare Authority.
• Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of unit manager or nursing management experience in a large healthcare setting.
