Design Coordinator

About the role

The Design Coordinator will be responsible for producing accurate AutoCAD drawings and related documentation based on client, principal or consultant briefs. This role supports project execution by ensuring design deliverables are complete, up‑to‑date and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD plans, sections, details, specifications and schedules within the timelines defined by the principal, client or consultant.
• Incorporate client or consultant feedback and revisions to obtain design approval.
• Survey sites and produce as‑built drawings, explaining drawing intricacies to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with architects, project managers and quantity surveyors to clarify design information and provide additional documentation as needed.
• Follow established computer protocols and coordinate with team members to maintain consistent drawing layout, style and presentation.
• Verify that all deliverables meet specified requirements, including handling project variations and amendments.
• Review client or in‑house architect sketches and specifications, developing them from concept to working drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical schematics.
