Design Engineer – Airports (UAE)

About the role

Sener is seeking experienced Airport Design Engineers to join its multidisciplinary teams in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves delivering safe, coordinated and constructible airport solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects throughout the design lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake airport infrastructure design across concept, preliminary, detailed and tender stages.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, design reports, technical specifications and other deliverables.
• Design airside elements such as runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield pavements and service roads.
• Design landside elements including access roads, kerbside areas, parking facilities, transport interfaces and utilities.
• Coordinate designs with civil, roads, drainage, structures, architecture, MEP and other disciplines.
• Participate in technical reviews, constructability reviews and value engineering activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience, preferably 5–8 years.
• Proven experience on airport infrastructure projects, both greenfield and brownfield.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Airport, Transportation Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to produce and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
