Design Engineer – Automotive Sheet Metal (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a Design Engineer specialized in automotive sheet metal to join our leading automotive manufacturing team in Dubai. The role involves creating and refining components for vehicle assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive parts, components and sheet‑metal assemblies using CATIA and SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models, 2D detailed drawings and BOMs in accordance with company standards.
• Apply sheet‑metal design, fabrication and manufacturing knowledge to ensure DFM and DFA.
• Perform basic design calculations and coordinate with production and quality for prototype development and approval.
• Modify designs for cost reduction and quality improvement while maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1‑2 years experience as a Design Engineer in automotive sheet‑metal design.
• Currently residing in Dubai or able to join immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CATIA.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
