Design Manager - MEP

About the role

The Design Manager will lead the MEP design team to deliver HVAC, fire protection, lighting, small power, ELV, plumbing and drainage solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and assign design activities, monitor progress and implement corrective actions.
• Track project schedule, prepare weekly progress reports and conduct internal review meetings.
• Manage resource utilization, maintain issue logs and ensure timely client approvals.
• Coordinate technical clearances, FAT, dispatch and inspection certificates.
• Collaborate with ESCO team to integrate energy‑saving measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Post‑graduation preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of MEP design experience and at least 4 years in a managerial role within the UAE or GCC.
• Experience in the ESCO industry is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HAP, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, DIALux, AMTECH and Cable Pro.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and electrical design.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of design engineers and draftsmen.
