Design Technology Teacher (2027-28 Academic Year)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Design Technology Teacher to join its network of schools for the 2027–28 academic year. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity and personal development in students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons that cater to a wide ability range, including SEN, EAL and gifted & talented students.
• Organise classroom resources, create engaging displays and facilitate hybrid, distance‑learning and face‑to‑face sessions.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies, act as a positive role model and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Assess student progress, set clear learning objectives and adapt teaching strategies based on reflection and feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in an international school setting.
• Experience working with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse parents and stakeholders.

• Ability to implement the Design Technology curriculum effectively.
• Proficiency in organising classroom resources and creating engaging learning displays.
