Desktop Engineer – End‑User Computing Support

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi office and ensure the reliability, performance and security of the end‑user computing environment. The role involves providing first‑ and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers and related peripherals while delivering excellent customer service to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral issues.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Support on‑premises Active Directory, Group Policy, file shares and handle end‑user access requests.
• Manage hardware deployments, upgrades, device refreshes and asset lifecycle activities.
• Perform break‑fix support, root‑cause analysis and issue resolution for endpoint devices.
• Maintain endpoint security standards, including patching, antivirus and compliance requirements.
• Document incidents, service requests and technical procedures in the ITSM platform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and application teams to resolve escalated issues.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of desktop support or end‑user computing experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with on‑premises Active Directory, Group Policy and enterprise device management.
• Good troubleshooting, communication and customer‑service skills.
