Developer Productivity Engineer (100% Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Developer Productivity Engineer to help QVAC application teams develop, review, test, and deliver reliable software with less friction. The focus is on our desktop and mobile applications, shared runtime, AI harness, and skills packages.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, including repository guidance and integrations.
• Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows that investigate failures, propose fixes, and provide actionable evidence.
• Improve automated pull‑request reviews, reducing noise and increasing accuracy.
• Develop code‑quality scripts and checks for complexity, size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.
• Enhance development environments, testing, and build/release workflows for reliable verification.
• Prioritize improvements with engineering teams, support adoption through documentation, and measure effectiveness and cost.

Required profile

• Experience building and maintaining developer tools or engineering automation used by others.
• Hands‑on experience using and integrating AI coding tools or agents with sound judgment on limitations and validation.
• Strong approach to code quality, maintainable code, and useful automated checks.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with engineers, and communicate clearly in English within a remote, globally distributed team.
