DHA Pharmacist

About the role

The DHA Pharmacist will work in GMG's pharmacy in Dubai, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, providing patient counseling, and supporting the pharmacy’s operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, determine needed drugs, and evaluate suitability.
• Provide customers with information on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Achieve sales targets through up‑selling and cross‑selling of Super Care categories.
• Order, purchase, store, and handle pharmaceutical and medical supplies, maintaining stock levels.
• Comply with local pharmacy regulations, including preparation, labeling, and delivery of medication.
• Maintain and report pharmacy records required by external authorities such as the Dubai Health Authority.
• Liaise with insurance companies to process claims and resolve billing issues.
• Handle daily operational tasks including inventory management, expiry management, and merchandising.
• Work flexible shifts and locations as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a registered pharmacist in the UAE.
• Strong communication skills in English.
