Digital Construction Coordinator - Senior

About the role

The Senior Digital Construction Coordinator will lead BIM and digital collaboration efforts across flagship projects, ensuring information accuracy and client expectations are met. You will shape BIM execution, support project teams, and drive continuous improvement in digital workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Support management of client expectations and clearly define BIM scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain BIM execution plans, information delivery plans, and responsibility matrices.
• Configure and operate the project’s common data environment (CDE) and core collaboration technology stack.
• Implement and manage BIM workflows from contract award through project handover.
• Perform 3D spatial coordination, identify clashes and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide BIM training, guidance and day‑to‑day support to project teams.
• Apply robust QA/QC processes to models and information deliverables from internal teams and subcontractors.
• Represent BIM at project‑level meetings, reporting compliance, progress and performance.
• Promote ESG practices and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Minimum 5 years (60 months) experience in digital construction/BIM coordination.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and information‑management processes.
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM authoring and coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, Archicad, Revizto).
• Understanding of OpenBIM standards (IFC, COBie) and cloud‑based CDE platforms (Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Asite).
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with automated model‑checking tools (Solibri) and data‑reporting platforms (Power BI) – desirable.
• Experience with visual programming (Dynamo) and 4D/5D BIM processes – desirable.
