Digital & Social Media Director

About the role

We are seeking a senior, hands‑on Digital & Social Media Director to shape and execute our social media and digital advertising strategy. The role combines strategic leadership, team management, paid media performance, and direct client interaction, with a focus on Arabic‑ and English‑speaking audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the social media and digital advertising strategy for all managed brands.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of social media managers, content producers and paid‑media specialists, setting KPIs and ensuring quality across platforms.
• Plan, execute and optimise paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Google, Snapchat and other relevant channels, managing budgets and reporting ROI/ROAS.
• Oversee end‑to‑end content production, including shoots, editing, creative direction and publishing calendars, ensuring cultural relevance.
• Serve as senior client point of contact, presenting strategy, performance reports and creative recommendations while managing expectations and budgets.
• Build regular performance reports (organic and paid) and deliver actionable insights to guide content and ad strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of marketing experience with a strong focus on social media and digital advertising.
• Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and English.
• Proven track record leading a social media team and managing client relationships.
• Hands‑on experience in social content production, from shoots to publishing.
• Strong analytical mindset comfortable with performance data and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
