Director - Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages

About the role

HKA is seeking a Director to lead its Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages (FACD) practice in London. You will shape the growth of a globally recognised team, working on high‑value valuation and forensic disputes for public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex, multi‑disciplinary dispute engagements, acting as the technical authority.
• Manage commercial performance, including budgeting, profitability, cash collection and risk mitigation.
• Oversee multiple commissions, allocate responsibilities and ensure delivery to HKA’s global standards.
• Develop and deepen relationships with key clients and law firms, providing expert advisory on contentious valuations and financial damages.
• Drive business development activities and contribute to the expansion of the FACD capability across EMEA.
• Provide operational leadership to teams, participate in recruitment and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in forensic accounting, valuation or commercial damages.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing profitable engagements.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and ability to act as a trusted advisor to counsel and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop people and contribute to practice growth.
