Director General Manager Sales

About the role

The General Manager Sales for the UAE will lead Cisco’s go‑to‑market strategy, coordinating cross‑functional teams to drive growth and operational excellence across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the country leadership team to define strategic objectives and budgets that address client demand.
• Drive the overall sales motion and ensure forecast accuracy for consistent, predictable bookings growth across the Cisco portfolio.
• Implement end‑to‑end sales methodologies to improve funnel reliability and lead‑generation efficiency.
• Build and nurture strategic government and executive relationships to create new revenue streams and increase market share.
• Chair the UAE Country Leadership Board to promote employee engagement, community involvement and compliance.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading large‑scale sales organisations in the technology industry.
• Proven executive‑level track record managing P&L and large sales quotas.
• Demonstrated success selling B2B enterprise technology to public and private sector clients in the UAE.
• Experience building or managing software and services businesses with a lifecycle approach.
• Relevant qualification in IT or business management.
