Director - Interior Design

About the role

Al-Futtaim Technologies is seeking a Director of Interior Design to lead the creative direction and delivery of interior design across its real‑estate portfolio, which includes retail, residential, commercial and hospitality projects. The role will guide internal teams and external consultants from concept through to final execution, ensuring innovation, functionality and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire interior design process for multiple projects, from concept development to detailed drawings and FF&E specifications.
• Develop and maintain interior design brand standards, guidelines, and technical specifications aligned with Al‑Futtaim Real Estate’s vision.
• Lead internal design teams and external consultants, ensuring adherence to cost‑efficiency, sustainability and quality standards.
• Integrate design standards, FF&E and OS&E specifications into a unified scheme for each programme.
• Stay current on industry trends, materials, techniques and market developments, and incorporate relevant insights into project designs.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in interior design across retail, residential, commercial or hospitality sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
• Strong understanding of brand alignment, cost control, sustainability and user‑experience principles.
