Director, Investments and M&A

About the role

The Director, Investments and M&A will lead Khazna Data Centers' capital allocation, underwriting and partnership structuring across its regional portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the role shapes the investment agenda, drives complex transactions and ensures governance aligns with the Group's risk appetite and return objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s investment strategy, translating corporate priorities into capital deployment plans.
• Lead underwriting and appraisal of greenfield data‑center and infrastructure projects, including risk assessment and post‑investment reviews.
• Own end‑to‑end M&A and joint‑venture processes: sourcing, valuation, financial modelling, due diligence, negotiation and deal execution.
• Establish and continuously improve investment governance frameworks, approval processes, valuation standards and hurdle rates.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and maintain relationships with banks, advisors, investors and strategic partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in corporate or project finance, investment banking or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale M&A, JV and infrastructure investments in multi‑jurisdiction environments.
• Strong board‑level communication skills and ability to influence senior executives.
• Deep understanding of asset‑intensive businesses and capital‑deployment risk management.
