Director of Marketing

About the role

A Sofitel hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, part of the Accor network of more than 45 brands, is looking for an accomplished and visionary Director of Marketing. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead the marketing strategy and drive business growth, developing and executing initiatives that strengthen brand positioning, acquire customers and deliver measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and market opportunities in the UAE region
• Drive brand positioning and competitive differentiation across all customer touchpoints
• Design and run integrated marketing campaigns for diverse customer segments
• Oversee digital marketing, performance marketing and customer acquisition programmes to maximise ROI
• Lead and mentor a marketing team, partnering with Sales, Revenue, Operations and Executive Leadership
• Manage marketing budgets, analyse performance metrics and optimise spend
• Build annual marketing plans and campaigns supporting revenue growth and customer loyalty
• Develop content strategy and storytelling, and build strong customer relationships

Required profile

• Significant experience in senior marketing leadership roles with a proven track record of business results
• Proven experience leading, developing and motivating marketing teams
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and marketing budgets
• Experience developing content strategy and storytelling
• Preferred: background in hospitality, tourism, retail or consumer services; Middle East market experience; knowledge of omnichannel marketing, market research and crisis communication
